Thai Yoga Therapy

The therapeutic application of Yogic poses, Yogic breathing, and Guided Visualization are used to assist you toward improving your conditions and to aid in the recovery of dis-ease.

Thai Yoga Therapy brings the ancient insights of Yoga into a wellness program, uniting body, mind and spirit. Thai Yoga Therapy evolved out of the ancient art of Yoga and it’s sister science, Ayurveda.

This interactive form of Yoga combines passive range of motion, assisted Yoga stretching, rhythmic pressure and rocking along the Sen lines, (energy meridians) and can also include energy work, breathwork, and meditation.

You will be comfortably dressed in clothing you would wear to a Yoga class. Many of the stretches are similar to a Hatha Yoga class and this therapy is often called “Lazy Man’s Yoga.” Thai Yoga Therapy is traditionally done on a futon mat on the floor. A massage table is also available for those having difficulty getting up and down from the mat.

Because everybody is different, your sessions will be customized for your specific needs.
